DeZone is an advanced 3D vision based system for obstacle detection. It protects the AGV from damage by detecting objects missed by the normal safety features, such as the forks of a manual forklift or low hanging equipment.

The DeZone scans surroundings with a 3D camera system. The camera field of view covers the machine house making it perfect as a machine protection device. The DeZone communicates directly with the AGV with 20 updates per second.

DeZone is developed in-house by MAXAGV. It uses different setup cases with two slow-down zones and one stop zone for each case. When detecting an obstacle in its path, the AGV slows down to stop in a safe manner.
